Story[edit | edit source]

Prince Leopold loses control over the kingdom as his trusted adviser, Ganondorf, finds out about ancient wisdom held in Leo's family about the ancient fallen kingdom of Hyrule, where all citizens were thought to have been killed or forced into slavery thousands of years ago, where the power of legends, the Triforce, and living descendants are supposed to live. Ganondorf takes over the military of Azark, the mountainous kingdom where Leopold recently lost control. The military hunts for information and news of there searches meets one of the small villages where present-day Hyrulians live. Against her parents, sorceress in training Zelda takes off to save the kingdom and her past, present, and future from the clutches of the the evil Ganondorf.

Zelda meets J' Sun in the Lark Forest, a forgotten spirit that promises to spare Zelda as long as she doesn't hurt the Meadow Swans. This strikes a mission for Zelda to destroy the Manubu spies working for Ganondorf, however, they are disguised as Meadow Swans. J' Sun offers Zelda the Looking Glass so she could tell who and who isn't in hiding for the Rainbow Rupee she found at the beginning of the game. The Looking Glass, Zelda could tell, will be used again in the future, so she takes the offer. Upon, killing the spies, Zelda gains a third of the Stealth Mask, what she will need to make it far into Ganondorf's territory. The part of the mask is haunted by a Mino, a spirit of evil cast in the mask to help protect it. A "boss battle" ensues and Zelda is the victor.

Gameplay[edit | edit source]

This game plays in the same style of past Zelda games, but with a large degree of stealth. For example, where Link would charge at a sleeping Moblin, Zelda would use magic to elevate it into the sky and drop it over a pit. In this instance, Zelda could still attack the sleeping Moblin like link, but it would not die in one blow and it would alert other local beasts and Ganondorf's armies. Your approach is always your choice.

Dungeons reappear in this game, but out of the four small dungeons appearing, only two are essential to move forward. Clockwork Tower is an extra dungeon that opens up after you beat the game that offers intense challenge, and the key to Hylain Labyrinth is bought from Germore for 10,000 rupees after beating the Ancient Chamber dungeon. Dungeons are not a major feature anymore, and the key to beating a dungeon is to sneak to the boss, or else you could call major attention upon yourself. Once enough enemies gather, they could cave you in or crowd you.

Bosses[edit | edit source]

Characters[edit | edit source]

Zelda[edit | edit source]

Ghirahim[edit | edit source]

Ghirahim returns in this game as a character helpful to Zelda. He often gives her advice and items through out the entire story. He can ugrade weapons for Kalamite stones, for example, he can make your stick into a boomerang equipped with iron spikes. After he <spoiler>, Tingle takes his place.

Ganondorf/Mirror[edit | edit source]

Weapons[edit | edit source]

Blade[edit | edit source]

The Blade class of weapons is the most basic class. It is very easy to acquire one of these weapons. The starting weapon, an Azarkian Knife, is a member of this class. It is also the weakest non-magic weapon used by Zelda. Other weapons in the class include: steel swords, wooden swords, throwing knives, golden blades, and double length blades. Most blades can be levitated by Zelda's magic, excepting golden blades and double-length blades.

Appliance[edit | edit source]

The Appliance Class is the largest and most varied class in the game. Almost all of the weapons in this class are throw-able and can be used to hit. Many objects just lying around can be picked up by Zelda. Members of this class cannot be stored or carried out of an area unless it is for a special objective. Some ''weapons'' in this class include spoons, pots, branches, forks, plates, artwork, rocks, TP rolls, looses parts of buildings, grass, fruits, nuts, dirt chunks, jewelry (special kinds), and wooden furniture.

Magic[edit | edit source]

The Magic class has several abilities that are unlocked or trained (training costs Rupees). It houses another default weapon, the Solar Shield! Harnessing solar energy, Zelda can create a shield to block, and also can throw the shield like a javelin, upon hitting the ground, dissolves. Another magic "weapon" is levitation. It is learnt after the first boss and goes stronger as the game progresses. Also in the magic category is flight, alchemy traps, Replenish, magical swords, shrinking and growing, and more.
