The Super Smash Bros. series is a crossover combat series made by Nintendo. The series instantly gained popularity, and two sequels were made, with another sequel in development. It is a large break from most fighting games, (such as Street Fighter) which involve making your opponent lose HP and use various long and sometimes confusing button combos. Instead, the SSB series focuses on ranking up damage, which allow for easier Knock-offs, rather than traditional fighting games Knock-outs and deaths.
